SYNOPSIS
(Eng) In the heart of the Light”, is a magazine-documentary which is taking the form of a spiritual, anthropological, and historical journey to the heart of Hinduism in the French overseas. It plunges us into the Dipavali, the celebration of lights, and follows the path of the Indian ultramarine francophone diaspora starting with India to deploy to the four corners of the world.
We follow a young woman in the celebration of DIWALI, who is about to perform an important religious rite. While performing this ritual, she will question herself and assume her certainties to bring dynamic and show the journey between the different topics of the magazine. Each topic will have the perspective of an Indian family based in India, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Reunion, according to the health conditions that involve social distancing rules and that alter the mode of celebration of one of the most important religious holidays of the year.
(Fr) Au coeur de la Lumière”, est un magazine documentaire sous la forme d’un voyage spirituel, anthropologique et historique au coeur de l’hindouisme dans les outremers. Il nous plonge dans la fête des lumières le Dipavali et suit le parcours de la diaspora indienne ultramarine francophone en commencent par l’Inde pour se déployer aux quatre coins du monde.
Nous suivons une jeune femme dans la célébration de DIWALI, pour accomplir un rite religieux important. Tout en accomplissant ce rituel, elle va se remettre en question et assumer ses certitudes pour amener de façon dynamique et itinérante les différents sujets du magazine. Chaque sujet aura le point de vue d’une famille indienne basées en Inde, en Guadeloupe, en Martinique et la Réunion, dans des conditions sanitaires qui impliquent des règles de distanciation sociale et qui modifie le mode de célébration de l’une des fêtes religieuses les plus importantes de l’année.
